SERVINGS: 2 CUPS– 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy whipping cream– 2-4 tablespoons (15-30 grams) powdered sugar– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Put the mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes to get them cold before you start. Do not put the bowl and beaters back in the freezer until they are cold.

The heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract should be put in the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment or in a large mixing bowl with a handheld mixer.

Mix at a slow speed to begin. Once the mixture starts to get bigger, turn up the speed to medium-high and keep it there until stiff peaks form.
