Cream Of Broccoli Soup Recipe

An easy, creamy soup like this cream of broccoli soup is perfect on a chilly day. This dish from At the Immigrant's Table by Ksenia Prints uses basic ingredients like as broccoli, cream, onion, and garlic.

Ingredient

– 1 onion, diced – 2 garlic cloves, minced – 6 cups broccoli florets and stems, chopped – 4 cups water – ¼ cup half-and-half cream – salt and pepper to taste

Direction

Put the oil in a big pot and turn it on to medium. Add the diced onion and cook for 5 minutes.

 Add garlic that has been minced, and continue to sauté for one more minute.

Put in the broccoli leaves and water. Put a lid on top, heat it up, and cook for 15 minutes.

Blend soup in a blender or immersion blender until smooth.

Mix in some cream, then season it with some salt and pepper.
