Bundt Panettone Recipe

I wanted to see how a faster version worked. Recipe for panettone bundt. A Bundt pan! You may not have panettone baking paper or love Bundt pans like me! Try this panettone recipe! Bake this simple panettone today!

Ingredient

– 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 3/4 cup sugar plus 1 teaspoon sugar – 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 3/4 cups milk  – 1/2 cup butter – 6 large egg – 2/3 cup raisin – 1/3 cup diced dried apricot – 1/3 cup candied orange peel optional – 2 Tablespoons orange liqueur

Coat a 10- or 12-cup bundt pan with butter or cooking spray. Mix the raisins and other dried fruit with orange liqueur in a small bowl.

Put the flour in a small bowl and add the salt. Mix the salt in well. Set the bowl aside.

In an electric stand mixer, mix warm milk and a teaspoon sugar. Mix it up. Spread yeast and let bloom for 10 minutes. Remove unblooming yeast and restart). Mix 1/4 cup flour on medium.

Mix the remaining 3/4 cup sugar and very soft butter for two minutes on medium speed. Ensure smooth mix. Each egg should be fully incorporated before adding another.

Add another 1/2 cup flour and beat for three more minutes on medium-high. Mix in remaining flour for a thick batter. After 3 1/4 cups of flour, the batter was sticky. Let the bowl rest covered for 10 minutes.

Add raisins, apricots, candied orange peel, and liqueur. Level sticky dough in Bundt pan with spatula. Cover and let rise until doubled in warm place for 1 1/2–2 hours. The dough was ready to bake at one hour, but I kept it warm in the kitchen. Doubling may take two hours.

Preheat oven to 350F after an hour.Bake panettone 30–35 minutes until center thermometer reads 200F. Softly touched bread should spring back and glow.After 15 minutes, remove bread from pan and cool on wire rack. Sprinkle powdered sugar on panettone before serving.
