Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients 5 quarts popped popcorn 1 cup butter 2 cups brown sugar

½ cup corn syrup 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon baking soda

Directions Compile every component. Set the oven's temperature to 250°F, or 120°C. Popcorn should be put in a big bowl.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add salt, corn syrup, and brown sugar and stir. Bring to a boil while stirring all the time. Boil for four minutes without stirring.

Take the pan off of the burner and mix in the baking soda and vanilla. Stir the popcorn and drizzle a thin stream of caramel over it. Mix until the coating is uniform.

In two big shallow baking trays, divide the popcorn. Bake for one hour in the preheated oven, stirring every fifteen minutes. Take out of the oven and allow it cool fully before slicing it into pieces. Have fun!
