Developer Michelle McGlinn suggests a sumptuous smoothie with rich chocolate and sweet coconut. Best of all, this smoothie bowl is vegan and made with entirely plant-based ingredients, so it tastes and looks like dessert but has more nutrients.
2 frozen bananas, cut into chunks
½ cup coconut cream
2 tablespoons Dutch-process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup shaved toasted coconut, for topping
½ cup coconut yogurt, for topping
¼ cup cacao nibs, for topping
¼ cup finely chopped pistachios, for topping

In a blender, combine the following ingredients: bananas, coconut cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla essence.

For approximately one minute, blend until smooth.Cut into bowls and serve.
