Ingredient
– 1 onion, diced– 2 garlic cloves, minced– 6 cups broccoli florets and stems, chopped– 4 cups water– ¼ cup half-and-half cream– salt and pepper to taste
Direction
Put the oil in a big pot and turn it on to medium. Add the diced onion and cook for 5 minutes.

Add garlic that has been minced, and continue to sauté for one more minute.

Put in the broccoli leaves and water. Put a lid on top, heat it up, and cook for 15 minutes.

Blend soup in a blender or immersion blender until smooth.

Mix in some cream, then season it with some salt and pepper.

You can add more cream to the broccoli soup and pepper flakes on top if you want to.
