Creamy Homemade Hummus Recipe
Recently, hummus has become a grocery store mainstay. Most stores sell a range of brands and varieties, including dessert hummus, which is divisive.
Ingredient
– ⅓ cup tahini
– ¼ cup lemon juice
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 small garlic clove, minced
– ½ teaspoon ground cumin
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 1 (14-ounce can) chickpeas, drained
Direction
For one minute, use a blender to combine the lemon juice and tahini and puree the mixture.

To the blender, add the garlic, cumin, olive oil, and salt. Blend for 30 seconds.

Blend the chickpeas with the remaining ingredients for another minute or two, adding 1-2 teaspoons of water if needed.
