Easy White Chicken Chili Recipe

Chili has several regional variants that vary considerably. Cincinnati chili is served over spaghetti and contains ground cinnamon. 

Ingredient

– 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 yellow onion, diced – 1 jalapeño, stems and seeds removed, diced – 8 cups chicken broth – 1 teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pepper – 1 teaspoon ground cumin – 1 teaspoon chili powder – 4 cups cooked, shredded chicken – 1 15-ounce can white beans, drained & rinsed – 1 4-ounce can green chile – 8 ounces cream cheese – ¼ cup shredded cheddar jack cheese

Direction

Put the olive oil in a big stock pot and set it over medium-low heat.

When the oil is hot, add the onion and cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion is clear.

After you add the jalapeño, cook for two more minutes.

Add the chili powder, salt, pepper, cumin, and broth.

Put in the green chiles, beans, cream cheese, and sliced cheese. Make sure everything is well mixed.

Bring it to a boil, then let it cook on low for 20 minutes. Add any toppings you want, and then serve.
