– 1 cup white sugar– ½ cup light corn syrup– ¼ cup water– ¼ teaspoon salt– 1 cup peanut– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened– 1 teaspoon baking soda

Measure out all of the ingredients before you start.Grease a large rimmed baking sheet. Set aside.

Put the sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt into a heavy pot with a capacity of two quarts and cook it over medium heat.

After roughly five minutes of stirring, the sugar should have dissolved and the mixture should have reached a boil.

Add peanuts and place a candy thermometer. Continue cooking, stirring regularly, until 300–310 degrees F (150–155 degrees C).

Stop cooking. Quickly mix butter and baking soda, then pour on sheet. Make a 12x14-inch rectangle from the mixture quickly using two forks. Cool 30 minutes to firm.

It is possible to use a mallet in order to make the peanut brittle into more manageable bits. Have a good time!
